Event Name: Workshop on “Designing of Personalized 8051 Development Board” Event Date: 16 Jan 2018 Designing of Personalized 8051 Development Board Description One day workshop was organized by the students of 3 rd year for the fellow classmates on Designing of Personalized 8051 Development Board. The workshop comprised of theory lectures and practical lab work. The theory lectures were followed up by Lab work wherein students did various steps of PCB designing like Sheet cutting, etching, tone transferring, soldering and components mounting. The final product was 8051 Development Board. The outcome of the event Leadership quality was inculcated in the students. Technical skills of the students regarding PCB designing got enhanced.

Event Name: Luminescence 2017 Event Date: 13 Oct 2017 Description of LED Visit 2017 Luminescence 2017 event was organized in the department of ECE on Deepawali eve to celebrate the festival of light. The highlight of the event was the projects made by an individual student of the department using LED. Various types of LED-driven projects were showcased which depicted the auspiciousness of the festival. LED cubes, Ganesh idol, Shubh Labh and Swastik are few of the projects to name. The aim of the event: To build real-time projects using Discrete components. The outcome of the LED Event ·         Technical skills of the students got enhanced. ·         Team building and performing capability got polished.

Workshop on “Industry Oriented VLSI”: -  This event was held on 1 st -2 nd  Feb 2018 in B. S. Anagpuria Institute of Management and managed by Electronics and Communication Engineering department. Description of Workshop on “Industry Oriented VLSI” A two-day workshop was organized by the department in collaboration with “Futurewiz, Noida” for the students of the 3 rd year on the topic “Industry Oriented VLSI”. The workshop comprised of theory lectures and practical lab work. The Design Team from Futurewiz taught concepts of VHDL and Verilog to the students and the Xilinx tool was used to conduct the practical Lab work. FPGA board was introduced to the students. The students got to know about the future prospects of an Electronics Engineer in VLSI domain. The Outcome of Workshop on “Industry Oriented VLSI” Students got to know how Industry works on VLSI platform. Practical aspects of FPGA domain were made clear to the students.
